A Weekend with the Stoddards

Here a some of my favorite people.......they spent the weekend with Nana and Papa and really kept us going!!! Gears (very scientific - see Colin below!), clay figures, "Pinocchio," and several trips to the hot tub.

Our Max is a good baby - hardly ever unhappy with life. Even when he has poopy diapers, he is a happy camper!! Who could be more loved by his big sister

We spent a day on the mountain. If you look closely, you will see Colin (look right behind the blue trash can out on the snow....Leo snowboards up to him.) Nana couldn't take very good pictures from inside the lodge. Adi also got to go up the chair to try her hand at skiing. They are both very excited about the snow (and the hot chocolate - just like their mother!!!)

And, of course, no visit would be complete without a visit to our favorite amusement center, the Sun Mountain Family Fun Center, and a quick ride on the bumper cars. You won't see Papa this time.....he and Max are cheering us on!!

Sledding, Bumper Cars and Rock Walls

Here is where the action is!

Colin and Adi visited us for four days. We packed all we could into those four days! Bet you never thought you would see Nana on bumper cars again!!

One of our favorite places to go when the kids are here, is the Sun Mountain Family Fun Center. In addition to go-carts, bowling, outdoor golf, and bumper cars, it has a great game center. Here, Colin is showing Papa his dance moves.

We also spent lots of time exploring at the Wonder Works Children's Museum. We caught fish, climbed rock walls, and took care of ailing stuffed puppies.

Both Colin and Adi got into the rock climbing wall, when they weren't busy making pizzas for Nana and Papa.

One of the new activities at Wonder Works is an actual newsroom with camera, news desk and weather map. While a girl is giving her weather report, Adi is trying to look "newsy" and Colin has become the camera man. They sure seem to know what to do!
