Nana and Her Friends

Nana had her friends from Roseburg over for a few days of shopping, golfing, eating and catching up with Brenda, Pat, Sara, Sally and Dianne. These are the very same gals who taught with Nana, raised their children with Nana, played bridge with Nana, and went on travel adventures with Nana.

Notice the great silver and gold "hats" that Sally made us wear! We were a hit in Sisters when shopping and lunching.

Four of us also played golf one day while the other two took a hike around Broken Top. Videos for extortion are below!

Nana loves her friends and was very glad to see them all! Our next adventure will be in the spring! Stayed tuned......

A Visit with Jennifer and Danielle

The first of June, I went down to California for our annual "Mother-Daughter Weekend" with Jennifer, Danielle, and her mother, Ruthie. We stayed in Palm Desert, had fabulous food, enjoyed the pool every day, golfed, and tried to stay cool in the +100 degree weather. These three gals know how to have a good time! You'll see all our fun in the pictures and videos below. Jennifer even got us on the Queen Mary (docked in Long Beach) because she took her mother to work on Monday. It was a real treat to see this time honored ship. She still looks pretty good and makes a great chocolate-snicker milk shake (the Queen Mary, that is!)
