Zach's and Lauren's Wedding in Las Vegas

My niece, Lauren, got married last weekend in Las Vegas! Despite the 110 degree temperatures, we had a great time with family. We even took in two shows: The Jersey Boys and Lion King.

One of my favorite places was the Palazzo at the Venetian Hotel. I could have spent all day just sitting there! It really looks like we are in Italy!

We had lots of fun dressing up for the wedding (see below) which was held at Mandalay Bay - just a quick walk from our hotel, The Luxor.

Fourth of July Shenanigans

We had another great Fourth of July. Amy and family came over for the parade, and this year, Max, Mom, Colin and Adi (plus Nana, of course) were all in it. It was a perfect day for a parade - and, they made the route longer. Colin's goal was to finish the parade this year, and we did it!





The weekend included fishing, swimming, fishing, a barbecue, fishing, bumper cars, fishing, games with prizes, fishing, and bike rides. Did I mention the fishing? The only thing they didn't manage to squeeze in was a float down the river.





Shenanigans abounded!
