Mother's Weekend in LA

I flew down to Los Angeles in early May to spend Mother's Day weekend with Jennifer, Danielle, and Danielle's mother, Ruthie. We headed to Ojai, a small town just southeast of Santa Barbara (just saw the smoke from the fires, but none of us had any breathing problems.) We shopped, rode bikes, ate some great food, shopped, had a great visit, and shopped!




We stayed in a cute little inn that had a terrific location to all the shops and eateries. We were even able to sample their Farmer's Market and a local olive farm. The weekend ended with a family barbecue back in LA at Danielle's brother's home and ice cream at their favorite spot.

The girls treated us to a wonderful Mother's Day dinner at a charming restaurant in Ojai (Suzanne's, in case you ever get there!)

Jennifer and I also got a long hike in before we left for Ojai.....beautiful scenery and a great climb and workout!
